Based at Yakabindie we are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to be part of our dynamic team.
We are looking for someone local to the area, as this role involves travel to cover sites in Yakabindie, Noresman, Esperence and Marvel Loch. This role will require stays of 4 to 5 nights at mine sites, and operates on a roster.
To succeed in this role you will posses a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, show a keen eye for detail and are committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
This role deals directly with fitters, picking truck parts and stock control.
Desired Skills and Experience
Your Main Responsibilities will include/ Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and efficient inventory control, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods.
Implement inventory management systems and procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock discrepancies.
Plan and organize daily activities to meet operational goals and customer requirements including picking, packing and fulfilling wholesale orders via internal and external logistics.
Identify process improvements and implement strategies to streamline warehouse operations.
Foster internal and external relationships with Wholesale Customers, Key Account Customers & Wholesale Team.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
To be successful you will possess the following attributes
Proven experience in warehouse operations
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Current Forklift licence (LF)
Current Drivers licence
Basic computer skills
